Frosted privacy film for interior office glass
This Vista Heights office had clear interior glass around private rooms and door openings. The glass kept the space bright, but it also left direct sightlines through the doors, sidelites, and adjacent panels. The goal was a cleaner privacy finish that softened the view without making the office feel closed in.

Project challenge
Interior office glass often needs privacy without losing the openness that glass provides. The clear panes made the rooms visible from the corridor, and the door hardware, frame lines, and adjacent sidelites all needed a consistent finish.
Installed solution
Dusted Crystal frosted film was installed across the targeted door glass, sidelites, and interior panels. The film creates a soft privacy layer, reduces direct visibility into the rooms, and keeps the daylight passing through the glass wall system.
Before And After

The before photos show the clear office glass and direct room visibility. The after photos show the Dusted Crystal finish across the same glass areas.

Privacy need
The rooms needed less direct visibility from the shared corridor while still feeling connected to the rest of the office.
Installation focus
The priority was clean glass preparation, consistent frost coverage, controlled edges around the frames, and tidy details around door hardware.
Result
The finished glass now has a softer, more private appearance without turning the interior rooms into dark enclosed spaces.
Planning Note
Why frosted film works well on office glass
Frosted privacy film is useful when the glass layout is already right, but the visibility through it is not. It can update office doors, meeting rooms, sidelites, and interior partitions without replacing the glazing system.
Confirm the sightline
Photos from both sides of the glass help identify which panes need full coverage and which panes can stay clear.
Work with the frames
Door frames, sidelites, hinges, handles, and stops affect trimming access, so the layout should be reviewed before installation day.
Choose the finish
Dusted and etched-look films are common choices when the goal is privacy, daylight, and a professional office appearance.
