A brand-new view of the fence, turned into soft frosted light

This luxury new build in Bridgeland has three tall casement windows, and each one looked straight at the neighbouring fence and roofline. Family Mortgage Guy hired Wall Style Innovations to give those rooms privacy without losing the daylight, and we installed dusted crystal frosted film on all three windows on October 16, 2026.

The frost blurs the fence, the roof and anyone on the other side of the glass, while daylight and the moving shadows of the trees still come through. The installer was Nikita: his first window film installation, trained in-house — and the client left five stars on Google the same day.

Three tall casement windows in a luxury new build, installed by Nikita in one visit
Tall clear casement window in a Bridgeland, Calgary new build looking straight at a neighbour's fence and roof before dusted crystal privacy film
The problem: clear glass in a tall casement window, with the neighbour’s cedar fence and roofline in full view while the glass is prepped for film.

The finish: dusted crystal frost edge to edge, with daylight and tree shadows coming through and no clear view out or in.

Project challenge

The three casements are tall and narrow, and each one faced the neighbouring property at close range: a cedar fence filled the lower glass and the next roofline filled the upper glass. A blind would have cost the rooms their daylight; clear glass left them on display.

Nikita prepped each pane, laid towels along the new sills to protect them, and squeegeed the dusted crystal film onto the glass of all three windows in a single visit.

Installed solution

Each window now reads as one even sheet of frost, with the fence and roofline gone from view and the daylight still in the room. The client left a five-star Google review after the visit.

Privacy from day one

Three new-build windows that looked onto the neighbour’s fence and roof now show soft, frosted light instead.

Daylight kept

Dusted crystal frost lets the light and the shadows of the trees through, so the rooms stay bright.

Trained in-house

Nikita’s first window film installation, done to the standard our team trains for, and rated five stars.
