Two Rifle Paper Co designs for one new home

The homeowners in Altadore already had a Rifle Paper Co wallpaper elsewhere in their new home and wanted the front entry and the powder room to match it. They chose two different Rifle Paper Co designs from York: Juniper Forest in Pine for the end wall of the entry, and Wildwood in Hunter for every wall of the powder room.

The homeowners could not get the traditional version of the paper through the Canadian retailer they had planned to use, so WSI took on the supply as well. We measured both spaces, recommended traditional unpasted wallpaper rather than peel-and-stick, ordered the rolls through Calgary Wallpaper, arranged delivery and hung both rooms on October 2, 2026. Project challenge

The powder room is papered on all four walls, so at each inside corner the Wildwood pattern has to continue from one wall onto the next. The homeowners raised the pattern alignment in those corners while the work was underway.

Installed solution

WSI ordered two extra double rolls from the same production batch, so any replacement strips would match in colour, and the corner alignment was addressed. The walls were new-build paint in sound condition, so preparation was limited to minor patching and filling, plus working around the mirror and the bathroom fixtures.

Two papers, one look

Juniper Forest and Wildwood are both Rifle Paper Co designs, so the entry and the powder room tie in with the Rifle Paper Co wallpaper already in the house.

Traditional, not peel-and-stick

WSI recommended unpasted traditional wallpaper for both rooms and sourced it when the planned retailer could not.

About 227 sq ft in one day

60 sq ft in the entry and about 167 sq ft gross in the powder room, both hung on October 2, 2026.
