Choosing a mural for a wall with a window in it

The homeowners in Crestmont wanted a dark floral mural in their home office, one that shows more of the overall composition rather than a single oversized flower. The feature wall has a horizontal window in the middle, so any design they picked would lose part of its artwork to the opening.

WSI helped them plan the design, the crop and the order size, and installed the mural on October 12, 2026, in about three hours.

Project challenge

The first design the client chose was built around one large flower, and the window would have hidden much of it. They had also asked about peel-and-stick.

Installed solution

WSI compared alternative designs with the client, made an on-site measuring visit, supplied a reference mockup and recommended the order size. We explained that a mural is cropped to the wall rather than printed as the whole picture, and advised against peel-and-stick. The client chose Floral Elegance in black and gold in WonderMural’s Premium wallpaper and ordered it 315 cm high with trimming allowance. The install took about three hours.
