No window film is "bulletproof." Security films are designed to be bullet-resistant or shatter-resistant. They hold the glass together to delay entry and reduce spalling (flying glass shrapnel), but they will not stop a projectile from penetrating.

Unlike standard tint, heavy-gauge security films require a longer curing period for the adhesive to reach full strength. This can take anywhere from 30 to 90 days depending on the film thickness and Calgary's climate. We provide specific care instructions during this period.

Without an attachment system, yes. That is why we highly recommend our optional Edge Attachment System (wet glaze) for commercial security projects. This bonds the filmed glass directly to the window frame, creating a unified barrier that is significantly harder to defeat.
